Learn to Round

What is a Round?

A round has four parts and takes about an hour to complete:

  1. Asanas: simple and gentle yoga poses. No yoga experience or flexibility necessary.

  2. Pranayama: two types of easy breathing exercises.

  3. Vedic Meditation practice

  4. Resting / lie down

Who can Learn?

Anyone who is interested and currently has a Vedic Meditation practice is welcome and encouraged to learn how to round!

Why learn?

Rounding is meditation luxury! Performing the specific sequence of yoga poses and breathing exercises prepares the mind and body to settle down prior to meditation. Therefore, when it’s time to meditate, our practice is often much deeper and we can more easily drop into less excited states and release deeper stresses.

Why is this helpful?…

  • A way to advance or deepen your current practice

  • A way to eliminate greater amounts of stress (and faster!)

  • A way to gain access to more energy

  • In preparation to begin taking Advanced Knowledge Courses

How to learn?

You can learn to round in a 2-hour workshop taught in person. We will go over the mechanics of how to round, the purpose, modifications, and how to incorporate this new practice at-home. We will also practice a round together. Take-home materials, at-home recommendations, and a lifetime of follow-up support are included!

What is the cost?

The cost varies depending on whether it is a group or private workshop. Please reach out to organize.

What is Rounding vs. a Round?

Rounding consists of doing multiple rounds back-to-back! Rounding is only practiced in a retreat setting. If you’re interested in a rounding retreat, please let me know!
